Student Film

 

"Education in Yunguilla, Ecuador"

While participating in the student study and service trip to Ecuador in 2007, Tanya Zaist produced the following documentary on the Ecuadorian education system as experienced by villagers in the remote mountain community of Yunguilla. The film focuses primarily on one family's commitment to sending their daughter, Daisy, to University in Quito in spite of the high costs of university education.
