At the recent Ivy League MUN conference in Philadelphia, a Jackson Hole delegation of 16 high school students from three local schools won most outstanding small delegation. In addition, JH High School Junior Reily Gibson won “best delegate award” for her performance in a committee simulating the International Atomic Energy Agency at the time of the Chernobyl disaster; and Matt Boney and Cormac Mullin—both seniors at Journeys School—won honorable mention for their participation in the Economic and Financial Committee and The Hezbollah Crisis committees respectively. Some 3,500 students from over 120 schools in 12 countries participated in the conference. IC 21 sponsored the Jackson Hole delegation’s participation. Congratulations to the students, and thanks to trip leaders Jeff Brazil and Caroline Johnson!
