Edward Cameron: The Human Impacts of Climate Change

Edward joined the World Resources Institute in January 2011 and is currently serving as Director of the International Climate Initiative

Synopsis: Climate change specialist Edward Cameron speaks about the future of humanity and the younger generation's role in mitigating the imminent and accelerating problems facing our planet. Cameron debunks the perspective that climate change is primarily an ecological problem, insisting that it is first and foremost a human issue. He describes the impacts that climate change will have on places such as the Maldives and key demographics, including women. He also discusses UN programs to address climate change, but concludes that climate change is every citizen's responsibility.

Below is an outline of his two-part interview filmed in Jackson Hole in September 2010, produced by fallcreekproductions.com and IC 21. The numbers in red refer to the starting point of the various segments of the interviews. To read more, check out the December 2010 newsletter.
